Foopak, Here and There Across 2025

If you’ve been following the packaging industry closely, you may have noticed Foopak showing up in many different places throughout 2025. Not as a big announcement or milestone recap, but simply as a brand that stays active, visible, and involved across markets.

Throughout the year, Foopak took part in a mix of industry exhibitions, conferences, and public events across multiple regions. These activities reflect how Foopak continues to engage with the packaging ecosystem globally, especially around the topic of sustainable paperboard packaging.

Showing Up Where Packaging Decisions Are Made

In 2025, Foopak appeared at major packaging, paper, and print-related exhibitions across Asia, Europe, the United States, Latin America, and Australia. These included PACK EXPO (United States), FACHPACK (Germany), Expo Pack (Latin America), Foodservice Australia (Australia), China International Import Expo (China), Vietnam International Printing and Packaging Exhibition (Vietnam), ProPak Asia (Thailand) and Paperex (India).

As a brand with roots in Indonesia, Foopak was also active locally through a mix of trade exhibitions, business initiatives, and public-facing food events. The brand took part in key platforms such as All Pack Indonesia, SIAL Interfood, and Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), where food, packaging, and export-oriented businesses come together.

These events brought together converters, distributors, brand owners, and packaging professionals from different markets. Across each exhibition, Foopak focused on introducing its fiber-based, plastic-free paperboard solutions for food and beverage packaging. The aim was not only product visibility, but staying involved in ongoing conversations around performance expectations, food safety standards, and sustainability requirements across regions.

Joining Industry Conversations That Shape Paperboard Packaging

Foopak was also present in industry-focused conferences, including the COP30 UNFCCC in Belém, Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) Spring Meeting 2025 and PPC Fall Meeting, Paper Meets LIVE! 2025 in the U.S., as well as Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (IISF) 2025.

Events like these are where packaging players exchange views on market direction, regulations, and design challenges. By joining these discussions through APP Group and regional partners, Foopak stayed connected to how the paperboard packaging industry is evolving, especially as brands look for alternatives to plastic.

Putting Paperboard to the Test in Real-World Events

Outside of B2B settings, Foopak continued to support community and lifestyle events in 2025, especially international running events and marathons.

Throughout the year, Foopak partnered with runs and marathons across Asia, Europe, and North America, including the LA Marathon (U.S.), ORLEN Prague Marathon (Czech Republic), Napoli City Half Marathon (Italy), Income Eco Run (Singapore), Tianzhong Marathon and ELLE Run (Taiwan), supplying sustainable paper cups for large-scale hydration needs. In Indonesia, Foopak packaging was also used at Prochiz Festival (Festival KreaChiz) in Bandung, a public-facing culinary event.

These events brought together thousands of runners and volunteers, offering a practical look at how fiber-based packaging performs in real-life, high-volume situations, fast-paced, outdoor, and highly demanding, not just in controlled environments or concept designs.

An Open Door for Future Collaborations

As packaging needs continue to change, Foopak remains open to working with like-minded brands, converters, and industry partners who are exploring more responsible packaging options. Past collaborations, including design-led projects with partners such as PinProof, reflect how material performance and packaging design can evolve together.

Looking into 2026 onwards, Foopak welcomes collaboration across markets, whether through product development, pilot projects, industry discussions, or real-world applications. The focus stays the same, practical paperboard solutions, shared learning, and progress built together.
